@Wayne-Workman no, but the streams have the same hard drive, the mmcblk0.

@Wayne-Workman
Fog trunk6327
boot fileipxe.efi
usb to ethernet adapter withASIX AX88772B
chip usb2 to 10/100. (I’ve been testing out gig to usb 3 adapters but no luck booting so far)
Host Kernel Argumentshas_usb_nic=1
Host Primary Disk/dev/mmcblk0
I’m using the HP Streams. I believe you already updated the wiki pertaining to these. We’ve lost the ability for a little while but @Tom-Elliott got it squared away. -
RE: Surface 3 Fails to Image
@Sebastian-Roth Works just fine now! thanks guys…

RE: Failure during image deployment.
@Wayne-Workman passed the no osid. but I’m currently having issues with partitions. tom is currently helping me on it. still stuck on the performRestore.

RE: HP Stream 11 pro
@Wayne-Workman @Tom-Elliott @Sebastian-Roth
I’m not sure why but I cant get the debug deploy or capture to load up…
also, still having issues with deploying. I can capture just fine (not debug capture though)

RE: Failure during image deployment.
@Tom-Elliott new issues with a deployment.

RE: Failure during image deployment.
@Tom-Elliott Thank you very much. testing now

RE: Failure during image deployment.
@Wayne-Workman I tried flipping the os on the image but it still gives my laptops the No osid passed
-
RE: HP Stream 11 pro
@Sebastian-Roth @tom-elliott New issues with enabling write cache. I can pull images fine still. Just not deploy.

RE: Surface 3 Fails to Image
@Sebastian-Roth I’m using the streams on this, and they’re running into the exact same problem with the mmcblk0 drive.
after running both hdparm -i and hdparm -W i was getting failed invalid argument. -
RE: Cannot Image HP Stream 11 Netbook
@Hanz I was having the same problems, if you see my thread https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/6036/hp-stream-11-pro
I had to change the host disk to /dev/mmcblk0 and that pointed fog to see the HDDs. -
RE: Cannot Image HP Stream 11 Netbook
@mwbutler I use these for the time being Here
but anything with the ASIX AX88772B chip ive seen work now.
If you want to read through my long going post have at it.
also, I have updated one of my streams to windows 10 and i can pxe into the menu but cant pull an image yet. haven’t done much testing yet on it though. I’m mainly using win 8.1 for now. -
RE: Cannot Image HP Stream 11 Netbook
I use ipxe.efi on these streams. Also when you first turn these puppies on you need to be hitting F12 or make sure you have network boot first. If it just skips everything I believe it’s the adapter. I have a couple of adapters I have tried and some just wont pxe boot. I have a usb 3 to gig ethernet adapter i’m trying out but it wont load the inits. I can boot to fog just fine though.
I guess just try some adapters if you have the availability.
Also, you said windows 10. are these the HP Stream 11 pro G2? -
RE: HP Stream 11 pro
@Tom-Elliott Ok! I’ll test today and update.
EDIT: It worked, the init skipped the main block and went to the partitions and pulls images just fine. -
RE: HP Stream 11 pro
@tom-elliott
I’ve updated fog to 5844 (still using Toms’ inits.) the image is setup as windows 8.1 and using option 2 for type (multiple part single disk) and when I created a simple upload task on a new image it’ll pull an image like this:mmcblk0 will pull a full RAW rip (~39GB)
then it’ll continue using partclone for each “partition” ex: mmcblk0p1
each one being its respective sizes.I feel that the first step of pulling a raw image is unnecessary. or is there a way i can skip it? I’ll update this as soon as it’s finished pulling the image and I deploy it.

RE: HP Stream 11 pro
@Tom-Elliott It pulled an image just fine. When I go to deploy this is what happens http://i.imgur.com/Hbw7LL3.jpg
If i use the
echo 0 > /sys/block/mmcblk0boot0/force_ro echo 0 > /sys/block/mmcblk0boot1/force_ro
and run a debug deploy this is what happens
http://i.imgur.com/YlxKwGY.jpgIt can capture just fine, deploying is having a problem (looks like a syntax issue?)
