    • RE: Fog[1.1.1] Can't add to the directory with organisational units.

      I found the error in my format that was preventing organisational units. My format wasn’t including an OU in the middle. For anyone that finds this later here was the proper format for my set up:

      OU=General Lab Windows 7,OU=Lab,OU=Workstations,OU=Blackburn,DC=BLACKBURN,DC=COLLEGE

      I’m going to bump this thread, if no one has any suggestions by tomorrow I can live without.

      @Josh

      How are you typing the OU format? is it like mine?

      “OU=Workstations,DC=Blackburn,DC=College”

    • Fog[1.1.1] Can't add to the directory with organisational units.

      I have been having issues with adding computers to the directory when using organisational units. When I leave OU blank it works correctly and adds the computer to the default “unknown” group, as it should. However whenever I try to add an organisational unit it fails with a variety of errors. I think I’m close though. The goal is for the computer to be added to the “General Lab Windows 7” group, I’m using “Worksations” as a testing ground

      Active directory settings:
      (OU contains: “OU=Workstations,DC=Blackburn,DC=College”)

    • Fog[1.1.1] Wake On Lan Question

      I’m wondering if there is a way to set fog to force the computer to netboot when using wake on lan. We are currently implementing fog as the imaging solution for our campus, but because the computers on our campus throw the 040ee119 boot error the boot time has been around 20+ seconds, so switching all our computers to default netboot is not practical. However if we can find a way to only netboot when fog uses wake on lan that would save our support technicians a lot of setup time. If anyone has ideas I’m willing to try them all.

    • Fog getting hung up on Database Schema Installer / Updater

      Hello,

      When I went to check the state of my fog server today I connected through the web browser. I was prompted with the Database Schema Installer / Updater. Thinking nothing of it I clicked to have it update. Unfortunately now I get prompted with it every time I connect. I never get to log in. If I reboot my sever I have a small window of time where I can connect and log into the web management, but it will quickly boot me off to update Schema.

      Any help would be great.
