@george1421 said in Multiple entrries in boot menu from BIOS:

Just be aware that FOG doesn’t create any uefi boot manager entries. Those entries can be added programmatically but the OS does that not FOG.

If by chance you wanted fog to create those entries you would need to create a fog post install script and use the linux bootmanager command to add those entries. The point is they are not automatically created by FOG.

Thank you for your response, I’ll check my system.
      Sincerely.

    • Multiple entrries in boot menu from BIOS

      Good morning,
      I’m using FOG 1.5.9
I noticed every time I pxe boot my machine for FOG, there is a new entry in the boot menu in my bios.
On a Lenovo machine, I notice that the boot menu displays Windows boot manager 130 times.
Doesn’t PXE boot on FOG generate a new boot entry on every reboot?

I upgraded my kernel from the command line.
Downloaded bzImage files from https://fogproject.org/kernels/ then copy to /var/www/fog/servçice/ipxe/
      Then do a reconfigure.
This is a command used to apply changes.
In fact we use FOg which is “packaged” in an “eolebase”:
      https://pcll.ac-dijon.fr/eole/
      It is a French system.
I think I have to do with them it must have a conf file.
      Thanks for your help.

Good evening, thanks for your answer,
that’s right, the results of the posted commands come from the computer in debug mode.
Ok I updated my version of linux kernel, but at “reconfigure” I still have the old version.

I registered manually with the collected mac interface. I scheduled an image deployment on this computer.
      I enabled debug mode.

Please find the result of the different commands:

Hi all, Here is the scenario, I have an old FOG server set to a fixed ip address.
My pictures are on a second hard drive.

      Thanks

I am not “really” in contact with the EOLE developers.
We use a forum to ask our questions: scribe@listeseole.ac-dijon.fr
I will see if other users have encountered this problem.

I deleted the different snapins and created a new one.
It’s the same error in the fog.log file.
This is what the file contained in FOG \ tmp contains:
