Is there a guide somewhere on how to update to svn? I’m used to just downloading it from the website with firefox. I’m not that great at linux.

After checking the /images directory newly uploaded images definitely have different types of files in their directory than the old images that are working. None of the old images are pre-1.0.

I upgraded from version 1.1.1 to version 1.2. I had trouble initially and had to edit the config to make my sql password blank again. I blanked passwords anywhere that I saw one in the .fogsettings file and the Config.class.php file because as far as I know I had no passwords. That seemed to fix it and the database upgraded successfully. I am able to restore old images just fine. But I just created a new windows vista image and it uploaded okay but when I go to restore it I get the message “This is not a partclone image.” Any ideas on a cause or a fix for this?

After selecting perform full inventory I get a black screen and a blinking cursor. What other info do you need?

0.32 works fine on these computers. I’ve done no additional configuration of a PXE file since that was not required in 0.32.

I just installed the current version of fog 0.33b that was released today to test it out. I was able to pxe boot into the fog menu. But when I select host registration it goes to a blinking cursor in the lower left corner and never goes past that.

The affected computer is a Gateway E-4610D. I will be going back to fog 0.32.
