Can you tftp from a seperate machine, not on the virtualbox, into the fog server?

There is no dedicated technical support as FOG and the technologies it’s based on are free and open source. Most of us here are overworked technicians and sysadmins that bulldoze through any fog problems we have with the help of the forums and google.

This is probably best asked in the developer forums.

Why are you trying to connect to 0.0.0.0 for tftp? Does PXE boot fail on all clients, or just a certain type? Can you try wireshark to do a packet capture and see what’s going on? You can check your dhcp config that way.

Is your FOG server also your DHCP server? If not, does DHCP need to be updated elsewhere? Are you using a proxy DHCP server or DNSMASQ?

Do these laptops get DHCP just fine on another network? Do any other computers get DHCP fine on your isolated network? Did you tell fog to configure DHCP when you installed it?
