I can do a manual dump with mysqldump -u root -p fog > /home/fogdump.sql

RE: Upgrade Woes - Latest SVN
mysql username and password are good to go, I can connect separately. Nothing in apache error logs. I’m stuck again.
I searched around again and went though all the other posts I could find, again none of them seem to apply to me.

RE: Upgrade Woes - Latest SVN
is there anyways that the installer will skip the php and apache packages if they are already installed? I noticed it removes them as one of the first steps
-
RE: Upgrade Woes - Latest SVN
Sure, After I ran that I was able to install php-gettext no troubles
-
RE: Upgrade Woes - Latest SVN
I get the same libmodapache dependency error, I was able to clear up the dependency errors at one point but I think the installer goes through and removes the PHP and apache packages when it install and breaks it again

RE: Upgrade Woes - Latest SVN
Tried the first time, Copy and pasted your text, got an error on the last one but disreguarded it, re-ran the installer still got an error, then realized you probably meant to have a space between libapache* and php* so I added that in and cleared the error on that command, Re-ran the installer and it looks like it’s still trying to install all the packages, I thought taking the packages line out would clear that.
Still errors out on php-gettext

RE: Upgrade Woes - Latest SVN
Hey @Tom-Elliott
Looks like it fails on the last command with the same error
The following packages have unmet dependencies: libapache2-mod-php5 : Depends: apache2-mpm-prefork (> 2.0.52) but it is not installed or apache2-mpm-itk but it is not installed Depends: apache2.2-common but it is not installed E: Unmet dependencies. Try using -f.

Looks like Broken Pipe issue? Not really sure where to go from there? Could be a bad repository?

RE: Upgrade Woes - Latest SVN
I haven’t tried modifying the .fogsettings file just yet, The error I get when I try to install individually I get
The Following packages have unmet dependencies: libapache2-mod-php5 : Depends: apache2-mpm-prefork (> 2.0.52) but it is not going to be installed or apache2-mpm-itk but it is not going to be installed Depends: apache2.2-common but it is not going to be installed

Upgrade Woes - Latest SVN
Was on SNV 5779
Ubuntu 14.04 LTS ServerTrying to upgrade to the latest SVN from SVN 5779
Install fails on installing php-gettext and bumps back to the bash prompt, I found a couple posts on earlier version about removing the php directory and doing a couple apt-get autoremove --purge commands but it doesn’t look like that will do it in my instance. Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing it? is there a log I could check?

RE: FOG Services Crashes - subsequently doesn't join domain
@Joe-Schmitt The fog log was on a machine I was imaging at the time, I dont have that machine right now so for the sake of time i’ll upload it in a next post.
Fresh install (on the reference image) was then bundled up with sysprep and deployed along with the image. I did not see any directions about disabling it when sysprepping. We never had an issue before so I honestly didn’t think to look. I am guessing that’s why everyone is talking about their setupcomplete.cmd files re-enabling it on the first boot. I’ll give that a try.

FOG Services Crashes - subsequently doesn't join domain
Not sure if this is a FOG error or windows error…
Fog version 8155 SVN 5705 running client version 0.11.2
We noticed that our clients weren’t rebooting automatically when the fog service/client is supposed to join them to the domain. I would check the services and found that the fog service was stopped.
Fog log looks good like its going to to join domain and reboot but the service just crashes instead of a reboot. I have even tried to set the service recovery to restart the service every time but no avail.
Checking the windows event log I see Event ID 7000:: The FOGService service failed to to start due to the following error: The service did not respond the the start or control request in a timely fashion.
I am running Windows10 - EDU 64bit -
RE: Updating Client
That’s pretty slick… fog service updated itself before I could even get into the host that had it installed!
