    • A few questions about the API?

      Hi all,

So I have a question about the API. I want to create a simplified web front end using the API for our software testers to use so they can create, delete scheduled tasks without worrying about learning the syntax of cron, viewing said scheduled tasks, view active tasks and when a system is added to the host list that host will be added to the web page.
      Would this be possible?

    • RE: FOG Pausing scheduled task.

Yeah, the issue is, I only want to pause one task. I’m new to cron style scheduling so I don’t know the limitations of it. Another issue this solution is for users who are less technically inclined and are intimidated when using CLI/terminal style environment.

    • FOG Pausing scheduled task.

Hi all, using cron I have created a scheduled task and its works as intended. But in some instances, I would like to temporarily suspend this task for an unallocated amount of time. Is this possible to do without completely canceling the entire cron task?

    • RE: Cron style sheduling not working

@Sebastian-Roth I’m currently using 1.5.7, but due to a little more thorough research, it appeared to be an issue with the apache webserver. After correcting the PHP time zone It now works as intended. Thank you for your help though.

    • Cron style sheduling not working

Hi all, I’m having issues with cron style scheduling.
I have currently set a scheduled capture task to run at 10:30 am and I have been monitoring both the interface and the target system. When the task hit 10:30 am the task did not move from the scheduled task section into the active task section and the target system has not been restarted by the FOG client. My settings appear to be correct as they state 13/09/2019 at 10:30 within the scheduled task section. Could this be an issue with my server or is this feature known to be a little buggy at times?

    • Large Image sizes

I’m having a little issue with fog capturing the entirety of the secondary hdd which contains large files and take up more room than required. This is something I do not want, Is there a way just to capture the windows installation and the applications installed on the C drive? I understand that I can capture partitions , but I’m unsure which option to select for just a back up of the C drive as they are numerical.

    • RE: Unable to boot into the PXE.

I haven’t changed any settings in the DHCP server as I don’t currenly have acess to it and will not till my manager comes back next week. Are there any other methods we could try to dianose the issue and if all else fails it will be the fault of the DHCP server which can be configured till my higher up returns?

    • Unable to boot into the PXE.

Hi, i’m fairly new to fog and pxe in general so I need a little asisstence. I’ve set up both the client and server and I can restart a system, using the web console. How ever I’m unable to boot into the PXE, I have PXE enabled on the system and have it set to the top of the boot priority, but yet I’m unable to boot into the PXE. Any assistance would be great!
