      Server
      • FOG Version: V.1.3.3
      • OS: Ubuntu 16.04
      Client
      • Service Version: V.0.11.8
      • OS: Windows10
      Description

      Hello,

      Following the update of my Fog server, 1.2.0 => 1.3.3, I have several questions concerning the FOG client.

      • Can the Fog 3.0.29 client still work ? Currently it does not work (no AD integration, no login history …)
      • On new PCs, if I install only the new client 0.11.8, the name change works, the login history works, but the AD integration does not work.

      Thank you for this help.

        @sapeurorca legacy client issues were fixed in 1.3.4 RC 1 (https://news.fogproject.org/fog-1-3-4-rc-1/).

        As for the new client, it uses a different field for setting the AD password (since FOGCrypt is not used anymore). Make sure the new field is set.

            @sapeurorca Correct.

            Domain Password (Non-Legacy labelled) is for the new client. You type the plaintext password in this field and it is encrypted and stored.

            Domain Password (Legacy labelled) is for the legacy client, this is where you store the FOG Crypted password.

            Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

              Thank you, for the new client it’s work.
              For the old client, I am obliged to install the V1.3.4 which is in RC ?

                @sapeurorca If you’re on 1.3.3, I’d recommend it yes.
