PXE boot question
-
I setup a FOG server at my work and it seems to work great. In this environment I cannot change the preexisting DHCP options and we have an existing SCCM server thats address is passed when booting a client from the network. To get around this problem the FOG host is on a vlan that doesn’t offer DHCP by the Windows environment. The FOG server provides DHCP so any client I want to image has to be moved to that vlan and this is a bit of a hassle. What I would like to do is have a USB stick to boot from and specify the FOG server so I can boot the client from the vlan its currently on. I created a USB boot but the PXE process still pulls the SCCM server address from DHCP. Is there a way I can override the SCCM server address being passed?

Actually there was just a thread similar to this. Where the OP had both sccm and fog on the same subnet. Let me see if I can find it.
But the solution was to use the FOG boot menu to select booting to sccm if they needed it. They the OP set sccm pxe to delay 10 seconds before responding to make this all work.
