      Hi,

      My company is buying the new lenovo p50 thinkpad serie. But i cannot register the host to FOG server. The server kernel is updated to the last one. Other older series like w540-w541 register without problems.

      Any ideas?

            @lgauthier Yup. Follow this:
            https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php?title=Upgrade_to_trunk

            do a config export of your DB before hand, and take a snapshot if your server is a VM beforehand.

            ALSO - realize you need to update any storage nodes you have after the main server is updated.

            And - you should NOT be trying to use some super-old OS like Ubuntu 10 or 12, and should not use CentOS 6, or Fedora core 10… We’ve had people try this, it’s never gone well. You need a modern OS - good news is they are free. And I would not recommend upgrading the OS to get to a newer one. If you need a newer one, I’d suggest a clean new server build on a new VM/box.

                @lgauthier Thank you. Can you post a picture of the error you’re getting?

                Also - you would most likely resolve the issue by upgrading to the latest 1.3.0 Release Candidate.
