multicast ports
-
So much earlier today and a few times before, I helped people with multicast, usually using CentOS 7 and Fedora.
I’ve realized that often times, FOG tries to use UDP ports in the six-thousands range for multicast.
The people I’ve helped, for most, they needed firewalld turned off and multicast started working. In the Fedora 23-24 and CentOS 7 articles, I’ve put written steps to only open UDP ports 9000 and 9001 (the default ports for udp-sender if ports are not specified).
What I’m asking is, what should be the recommended open ports range for Multicasting so I can change these articles.

Fedora 23, 24, and CentOS 7 articles updated to allow UDP ports 49152 through 65532.
