Location Plugin

Is there a tutorial on setting up the location plugin? I am looking into the possibility of running a fog server at half a dozen sites and would like to replicate the images between them. I believe the location plugin will allow me to set this up but I haven’t been able to find documentation on how to set it up.

@joshuaparker I can probably make a simple video on this and then put it in the Wiki. And the Location plugin is probably the most important FOG Plugin and I used to struggle to understand it until I actually sat down and just started messing around with it.

You just want a tutorial on setting up location plugin?
Do you NEED the tutorial to set it up?
I know this sounds like I’m being crude, but I DO understand the request for a tutorial, but why is it expected that somebody just create one?
From my perspective, the location plugin is JUST that. It’s a plugin (an additive) to the main of FOG. If there isn’t a tutorial, and there’s a want for one, why not go through learning how to set it up and create a tutorial for others?
We ALL have full time jobs and use our FREE time to work on FOG and answer forum posts and what not.
Like I said, I understand wanting a tutorial, but if one isn’t created why is it just expected that somebody else create it?

Actually, I started making the video last night but hit a bug during recording lol…

@Tom-Elliott I didn’t expect anyone to create one, simply asked if there was any documentation available. Why recreate the wheel if someone has already gone through the work.

@joshuaparker I understand. It is not a dig at you or anyone in particular just felt it should be said and your post looked like a winner in my eyes. Again no hard feelings just wanted others to try helping if/when possible too.

@Tom-Elliott No problem, would be happy to document if I am able to get locations configured to do what i am hoping to accomplish.
