@nbuursma Actually, Tom says it might be fixed now. I just haven’t tried yet, got caught up with something. Try to update.
Not fixed… still getting “Invalid Mac Address” when registering host.
-
Tried updating via
svn checkout https://svn.code.sf.net/p/freeghost/code/trunk
and it checks out and installs 5972. Is there a different way I should get the latest update? That was the one I was still on?
Thanks!!

There are several ways, but the one you did is valid. you could shorten that line by just typing
svn up
at that step to pull the latest. -
Cool thanks… I’ll give it a try!

Tried that still says Version: 5972 in fog… it said checked out rev 4653

@Wayne-Workman
Thanks a lot! -
@GFm I hope this is all fixed now if you are willing to up and test.
-
@Tom-Elliott I will try on Tuesday… Thanks for updating it so quickly!
-
Updating to the latest SVN fixed my problems… thanks!!
@Wayne-Workman @Tom-Elliott -
The below MAC address detection issue is resolved as of svn 4678 cloud 6020
-
Fog settings so far for this device:
Boot file: ipxe.efi
Host EFI Exit Type: REFINED_EFI -
Hit a bump… @Developers
Image type I tried: Windows 8.1 resizable. I’ll try non-resizable and see what happens.
-
single disk multiple partition Non-resizable
Appears to work so far. It’s uploading the large partition at the moment.
UPDATE
Yes, it appears to have captured correctly:
ls -laht /images/acere11manufacturerbase
total 28G drwxrwxrwx. 27 fog root 4.0K Jan 19 10:13 .. drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 100 Jan 19 10:12 . -rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 12G Jan 19 10:12 d1p5.img -rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 16G Jan 19 10:01 d1p4.img -rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 2.0M Jan 19 09:43 d1p3.img -rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 24M Jan 19 09:43 d1p2.img -rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 232M Jan 19 09:42 d1p1.img -rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 1.0M Jan 19 09:42 d1.mbr

@Wayne-Workman This looks like issue with the disk layout maybe?
-
@Tom-Elliott
The top command is fdisk -l second is lsblk, third is fixparts.It’s a GPT disk obviously.
-
As of svn 4724 cloud 6112 I am able to successfully upload a GPT type disk from this computer using “Single Disk - Resizable” type images - in UEFI mode using ipxe.efi
Secure boot had to be totally disabled though.
-
I referenced this in my other post, but this fixed my issues as well. Thanks!
