Hi guys,

I was wondering what steps i needed to do in order to implement cab file in an install of win 7. My goal is to make an image to work with different dell computers we have. I looked at driver packs but they are so old and would not benefit me at all. I have all the cab files for all the machines we use. What do i need to do next ?

I’d say that SysPrep is your answer.

I found this in the wiki, which might be helpful: http://www.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Create_a_windows_7_image_for_many_different_hardware

Also, this might be helpful too: http://www.itninja.com/blog/view/creating-a-windows-7-sysprep-image-without-having-to-install-any-drivers-at-post-install-tasks
