• Hello all,

I just updated my FOG server because I was having trouble getting some of our newer computers to PXE boot. Couldn’t update from .32 to 1.2 on Ubuntu 12.04 server, and couldn’t update 12.04 to 14.04 (very new to Linux). It was easier to just start over to see if upgrading would even solve my initial problem. I am currently running 1.2 on Ubuntu 14.04 successfully, and I have managed to migrate my images over by copying them from old to new server in same file location and recreating the definition in FOG web UI. New FOG works great with all my PC models! My problem is:

How do I migrate my 100+ host records from .32 server to 1.2. I found export buttons in WebUI, but importing comes back with “error too many cells”. Any suggestions? I have tried removing cells and making my csv match a csv from 1.2, but no luck. My techs would hate to have to re-register all the computers again.

on the host import page, there is a template file to download. if you make your formatting match the template, it should upload.
