This did get me farther, but still failed saying it could not start download, operation not supported. I did get frustrated and keep hitting F1 to retry and once it came up with the FOG Menu but crashed out before I could do anything.
Now you need to try a different undionly.kpxe, try the undionly.kkpxe and the ipxe.kpxe and ipxe.kkpxe files and see if this helps with the issue, if not search here on the forums, there is a file out there that Tom has edited and added more commands to alleviate the issues with “Option not supported” and the console errors.

Not sure if this is progress, I updated my option 67 on my DHCP server to “ipxe.kpxe” and now instead of the “option not supported” the PC reboots automatically.

So what files have you tried?

In the /tftpboot folder there’s many files.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

what does the content of your /tftpboot/default.ipxe file look like?
is the /tftpboot folder and the files in it set to 755 permissions and owner of fog:root?

Here is the default.ipxe now as for the other question, sorry I don’t know what that is or how to check it, sorry I am an old MCSA and just returning to the linux world.

#!ipxe
cpuid --ext 29 && set arch x86_64 || set arch i386
params
param mac0 ${net0/mac}
param arch ${arch}
isset ${net1/mac} && param mac1 ${net1/mac} || goto bootme
isset ${net2/mac} && param mac2 ${net2/mac} || goto bootme
:bootme
chain http://10.10.10.35/fog/service/ipxe/boot.php##params

it looks like ownership of 644 should work as well, so…
ownership and permissions set appropriately
sudo chown -R fog:root /tftpboot
sudo chmod -R 644 /tftpboot
I am having a similar issue, I upgraded from 0.32 to 1.1.1 running on Ubuntu 14.04LTS my new Dell Optiplex 3020’s will enter into the fog splash screen but the slightly older Optiplex 3010 I get file not found see attached. I have tried every file in the tftpboot folder and the permissions are 777 accross the board for the tftpboot folder and all files contained. Thoughts.

Did these commands, now I have no access to the tftpboot folder. returns error permission denied in WinSCP when I try and look at the content. "Server returned empty listing for directory ‘/tftpboot’

Knew I should have stayed in bed but no I had to wake up and say, “Lets play with Linux this week”

Now that I have access again I have tr8ied every file in the tftpboot folder. Some give me “option not supported”, some just start a reboot, and default.ipxe makes it just freeze. Not sure at this point if there is any more to try or start from scratch.

Can you tell us what your switches are?

It is possible that portfast is disabled or STP is enabled on your network gear.

My core switch (Layer 3) is a Netgear GSM7328FS and my building (layer 2) switches are netgear GS748TP. The Two computers I am trying are Dell OptiPlex 520, 745. I have 755, 750, 960, and 990 as well but have not tested it on the new stuff yet as they are the smaller groups. Yes we do have STP enabled on the switches.

your switches are the problem then.
those computers work, i have tested at least half of those models personally.

My vendor just suggested that if I turned off our STP (RSTP) my network would almost immediately fall apart, we have a large mess of a network. Are their other options?
