FOG 1.0.1 Released
-
Throughout the day, Chuck and I have been working out different bugs we’ve encountered throughout the day.
Please use this as the latest stable. While 1.0.0 was considered stable, we knew there’d be some issues found here and there.

Dear Fog Dev Team
Just wanted to say thank you for all your hard work on this wonderful application. Years ago at my previous job I suggested we used FOG. At the time I didn’t have the necessary skills to setup FOG and my co-workers were too closed minded backwards to even bother. This was back in 2009 when they were still booting Ghost in a floppy to clone drives. Anyways forward two weeks ago when I started looking in to FOG again and noticed that it was still on active development when I noticed the release candidate last April. I figure it would be worth learning everything about FOG since it was still in development and about to release a new version with new features. Exciting! I am blown away by how lighting fast I can deploy an up to date Windows 7 fully loaded with applications in less than 5 minutes. My only regret is not trying harder to learn about setting up FOG back in 2009. I am glad the FOG project is still around for me and thousands of other IT professionals. FOG is truly a must have gem for any self respecting IT support admin. I and the rest of the FOG community thank the developing team for their work of love for this project.
P.S. Yes, I will be thanking as well with a small donation.

started using FOG 0.32 to get me thru my Windows7/Office2k10 deployments for 215 workstations, and was successful with FOG deployments, there was a slight learning curve but if you need something deployed quickly and not have to read tons of microsoft literature and tutorials then FOG is your answer. I have not yet tried 1.00 but sounds pretty cool especially now being able to read GUID partition tables this issue got me hung a few times.

Agree with you guys.
I will also thanking with a small donation. -
Just updated and wanted to say thanks for all the hard work! I was wondering does it now work where I can set a certain group to a certain resolution and have that group change? It doesn’t seem to be working.

I love fog, no idea what we’d do without it. Did you mention the depreciation of pxelinux.0 in the wiki or documentation somewhere? I noticed it is renamed to .old and had to change my DHCP scope options to reflect the new undionly.kpxe.

Do we lose Reports when we update to 1.0.1?
I updated and now I can’t run any of the Reports. What should I do?
-
delete the files in /management/reports
that should make most of them work
