Fresh install of windows 7 pro. I verify that windows only sees the 100mb partition and the main partition. Fog tells me that “More than 2 partitions found, not valid for this image type.”

The host is set to windows 7. The image is set to Single Partition (NTFS Only, Resizable).

I have dozens of images built and hundreds of workstations out, but I did have to rebuild my Fog server a few months ago. Did I miss something?

I’m almost willing to bet your Windows 7 installation is done through GPT. Therefore the partitions FOG recognizes are:
      Reserve
      Main
      and the fake MBR partition.

To verify, boot into debug mode
      and run:
      gdisk -l /dev/sda

I think you’ll see, more or less, what I’m thinking is the problem.

Please help us build the FOG community with everyone involved. It's not just about coding - way more we need people to test things, update documentation and most importantly work on uniting the community of people enjoying and working on FOG! Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

After I changed the “Master Password” under the FOG PXE Boot Menu Config - so I could get into debug mode (wouldn’t go with a blank) all my machines end up being stuck at the “Booting from local disk…”

Read somewhere in the forum about replacing ftp/NFS with http. Is this something which is going to be realized in an upcoming release?

Please don’t hijack threads, yes http transfer is slated for 0.33b and its being implemented with iPXE
