FOG & Zentyal

    I try to set up fog on an Zentyal (ubuntu) server.
    I D""
    I disabled the dhcp server of zentyal and enabled the dhcp server of fog.
    I also didn’t install the dns and ftp from zentyal, but I installed the dns and ftp server from FOG.
    Now I try to boot the prelinux file. But It won’t boot.

    has anyone experience with zentyal ubuntu servers or tips I can try to run the fog server.

  • Hello everyone,

    I’m trying to connect with Zentyal server. Fog
    as mentioned earlier (http://fogproject.org/forum/threads/fog-zentyal.4268).
    I managed to make a boot image and upload and download. Again the server I now have only one problem with zentyal. Fog apparently overrides any folder which some images of zentyal no longer be displayed.

    Whitout FOG installed

    After I installed FOG and my server got rebooted

    what am I doing wrong?

    After that I selected the packages I need.

    Saved the settings.
    I’ve installed fog whit the next commando (ssh):
    [B]wget sourceforge.net/projects/freeghost/files/FOG/fog_0.32/fog_0.32.tar.gz && tar -xvzf fog* && cd fog* && cd bin && ./installfog.sh[/B]

    [U]Whit the next settings:[/U]

    Distro: Ubuntu
    Installation Type: Normal Server
    Server IP Address: 192.168.0.111
    DHCP router Address: 192.168.0.1
    DHCP DNS Address: 212.54.40.25
    Interface: eth0
    Using FOG DHCP: 1
    Internationalization: 1
    Set mysql settings right in /opt/fog/service/etc/config.php & /var/www/fog/commons/config.php.

    Now reboot:

    I made the same ubuntu (fog/Zentyal) system on virtualbox, I am uploading it to multiupload.nl tonight :).
    If you want to test the image I will add the download link today (its hire 0:27 in the night)

    I can take a look and see what I can come up with. I have a Zentyal VM setup from when I was looking at UTM’s.
