The Third Argument [ /images/Optiplex360] must be a valid regular file or fifo...

Hi Guys,
Ok I’m still fairly new to FOG and attempting to deploy our first image.
Basically the setup is FOG is installed on Ubuntu 10.04LTS.
I have created a Win 7 PC with the stuff that I require on it, uploaded the image to FOG as a Single Partition (NTFS only, Resizable). I am trying to deploy it to a machine which currently has Windows XP installed on it. Everytime I try to deploy the image I get the above error message “The Third Argument [/images/win732bit] must be…”
Could anyone lend me a hand or point me in the right direction please?
Kam

Not sure if this helps, but just doing a search on the site for “The Third Argument” i found the following link, which is also what you would find by googling “The Third Argument must be”. Not sure if this will help, but it may point you in the right direction. I personally have never had that error before.

I’ve not seen this before, Is the OS type for that registered host set to Windows 7? OS type has to match the image.

Looks like Jason beat me to it and gave you the same answer

That worked!!! Cannot believe something as simple as that.

Awesome work Kamz87! It generally is something simple. I’ve had so many little things like that happen. Just make sure you always try and it never hurts to ask or read the wiki or forums for answers. Have a good one!
