FOG DHCP server not working
-
I updated my Ubuntu and FOG to the newest version. Now DHCP is not working anymore. (I’m 100% sure there is no other DHCP in the network, because I’m using a switch to connect a client-computer with my FOG-server. I do not get an IP on another computer from FOG server. That’s also why PXE boot stopped working.

What network settings do you need on Ubuntu regarding DHCP? Normally the IPv4 settings are set to DHCP in the Networkmanager GUI. I assume you have to set it to Manual and choose the IP you entered during FOG setup. Is this correct? Is this mentioned somewhere in the docs?

We suggest to use a static IP for your FOG server!
You can find out the IP the server had when FOG was installed by running the following command on your FOG server console:
grep ipaddress /opt/fog/.fogsettings
