I followed the instructions on how to set up a host computer that I want to take an image of from here https://docs.fogproject.org/en/latest/getting_started/install_fog_client.html
But after installing the fog client the windows machine never shows up under hosts. I even let it sit and think over the weekend thinking it just needed more time. Has anybody seen this before? Thanks!

@sebastian-roth Sorry if this is a dumb question but I’m pretty new to all of this, I am trying to PXE boot now but its showing no boot file name received. Thanks!

@sebastian-roth No the host didn’t show up to be approved, I’ll try manually registering the host through FOG PXE boot. Thanks!

@IT123 Did the host show up to be approved? https://docs.fogproject.org/en/latest/getting_started/install_fog_client.html#approve-the-machine

Otherwise you could also manually register the host either through the FOG PXE boot menu or directly create it in the FOG web UI.

In any way you want to check the log on the host machine (C:\fog.log or C:\Program Files (x86)\FOG\fog.log).

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

Please support FOG if you like it: https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Support_FOG
