Dell Precision 3551
-
I’m having a hard time imaging a new batch of Dell Precision 3551s, I can get to the fog menu, but when I try to inventory or deploy an image I get an error that says, “No network interfaces found, your kernel is probably missing the correct driver! Please check your network setup and try again!”
I have updated to 1.5.9 but I’m still getting the same error.
I’m using UEFI PXE boot, secure boot is off and SATA changed to AHCI that all I usually need to set for fog to work on all my previous models.
Any Ideas?

Upgrade the FOS Linux kernel to 5.6.18 or later. FOG Configuration -> Kernel Download and install both the 64 bit and 32 bit kernels.

Yup that was it! Can’t believe I didn’t even think of that, thanks a bunch!

This worked for me on a 3550 as well.
Thanks!
