    Hi,

    I’m getting stuck on boot.php… on a laptop during the pxe boot and i don’t know why.

    I’m all on legacy (undionly.kpxe) and i can’t switch to EFI.
    On others computers i’ve no problems.

    Desktop : Lenovo B50-10
    Fog Version : 1.5.8

    Thanks in advance

      Can you provide a screen shot of the error or where you are getting stuck? We need to see the context of the error/problem.

        After enter Username/Password.

        Same with a deploying task.

        No BIOS update needed…

        /ipxe/boot.php OK
        /ipxe/boot.php…

          @vic60400 How big is your bzImage file?

          The .'s usually represent downloading of data.

          If your bzImage is large (many hundreds of megabytes typically, to a few gigs) as it is trying to load the bzImage into memory, we see a . being inserted to show “progress” persay.

          The fact that you have so many dots leads me to think your bzImage is not the right size.

          Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

            @Tom-Elliott Idk

            But he only does it on this type of laptop, I don’t think it’s because of that.

              @vic60400 Please try other iPXE boot files instead of the default undionly.kkpxe. Could be an iPXE network stack issue that makes loading the kernel very slow.

                  @vic60400 Try all the ones that end with ...pxe. Start with ipxe.(kk)pxe, intel.(kk)pxe and realtek.(kk)pxe…

                    @Sebastian-Roth It’s works thanks you ! 🙂

                    Try with ipxe.kpxe !

                    With “kk” SAN boot image don’t work.
