      I know that there are many topics related to this error. But the majority I saw had some differences from my problem.

      I found one apparently the same but had no solution.

      Use OS server UBUNTU 18, FOG 1.5, Client Windows HP.

      Well, my FOG server is installed on a virtual machine. And my network is divided into subnets. In two subnets it is possible to use the fog normally. One of these subnets is directly connected to our data center. The other is connected by a SWICTH. But both work very well.

      In this subnet that does not work there is also the connection via an intermediate swicth.

      The machine takes IP normally but gives this error in TFTP: “TFTP open time out …”. When entering Windows I can download the file undionly.kpxe normally.

        I suppose you mean FOG 1.5.7? Just want to make sure.

        Well that is a really good starting point. While we are still missing a fair amount of information regarding your subnets I would have suggested you test that first.

        What comes to my mind first is the client might not receive gateway/router information when doing PXE boot and therefore is not able to pull the binary via TFTP from the FOG server. Can you please take a picture of the whole screen with the TFTP error. There might be a hint on what’s wrong there.

        Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

        Please support FOG if you like it: https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Support_FOG

          @Sebastian-Roth,
          Excuse me! We solved the problem! It was an extremely silly mistake. Beginner’s mistake. The option “Enabling network booting” and “Next Server” were not configured for this VLAN in PFSENSE.

          Still thanks for the answer! You guys are awesome!

            @Sckendall With pfsense make sure both the bios and uefi fields are filled out to support dynamic booting between bios and uefi clients. Then pfsense will work fine for network booting.

            Please help us build the FOG community with everyone involved. It's not just about coding - way more we need people to test things, update documentation and most importantly work on uniting the community of people enjoying and working on FOG!
