      Hello.

I’m trying to capture a Lenovo M920q image, but when I try to register the host I get this error:

ACPI Exception: AE_BAD_PARAMETER, Could not install PciConfig handler for Root Bridge PCIO (20170119/evergnini-245)
usbhid 1-7:1.1: couldn't find an input interrupt endpoint
      Starting logging: OK
Populating /dev using udev: udevd[2721]: error creating epoll fd: Function not implemented
      done
      Initializing random number generator.... done.
Failed to get an IP via DHCP! Tried on interface(s):
Please check your network setup and try again!
      Press enter to continue

I’ve tried to change Kernel args (noacpi, acpi=off…) but stills the same. If I try to capture o deploy images from/to different models I have no problems. I’m using FOG 1.4.4 on an isolated lan.

      Any idea?

Most probably your version is too old to have a network driver included for the Lenovo M920q.

Which Linux OS do you run?

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

@blacksmile I’d sugest you update to 1.5.7 which hopefully has the right network card driver.

While I also recommend that you update fog to 1.5.7, if you can’t for whatever reason then at least update the FOS Linux kernel to 4.12.3 if your target computer has an Intel i219 style network adapter. You can get them from here: https://fogproject.org/kernels/

Please help us build the FOG community with everyone involved. It's not just about coding - way more we need people to test things, update documentation and most importantly work on uniting the community of people enjoying and working on FOG!
