@agray OK then, read through this tutorial to get everything back in sync. https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/11203/resyncing-fog-s-service-account-password

I hate to say this issue happens more often than we’d like to admit.

Please help us build the FOG community with everyone involved. It's not just about coding - way more we need people to test things, update documentation and most importantly work on uniting the community of people enjoying and working on FOG!

Did you change the password on the linux service account for fog, called fog? I’m not talking about the web ui default admin called fog but the linux user (service) account called fog? The error code indicates that the password doesn’t match what FOG things it is.

I did, then reinstalled fog because i was told it would fix it.
Since the reinstall, I havn’t touched the fog user account.

@george1421 Internet access and, if swapping networks, the updateip scrip are required right?

@agray Right if you change the fog server’s IP address after FOG is installed, you need to run the script. If you need to create a dedicated (isolated) imaging LAN, you can add a second network adapter connected to your business LAN for remote management as well as internet access.

@george1421 is it normal for this install for me not to re-enter all the information like the first install?

@agray Yes, you should only have to answer the questions the first time, because the next time you run the setup script it pulls from the /opt/fog/.fogsettings file.
