Could you please kindly help me about How to update OR Upgrade the FOG Version 1.5.5. Currently I have FOG Version 1.5.4 On Ubuntu 16.04.3 Desktop x64 bit OS.

is there No Effect on Stored Images after upgrading FOG ?

No, there shouldn’t be any effect on the images but make sure you read all the information on upgrading in the link posted by Tom if you have storage nodes!!!
