I have noticed that, in groups, when I put in a group product key and save it that when I come back to it later it will be blank. I have not seen this issue with single hosts if I assigned a product key to them individually.

@iwohl The hack I created (with the help of Tom who converted it into a plugin) for persistent group like function. In this case you will create a template “fake” host, who’s settings will get copied to any host added to the group. That should get you pretty close.

@iwohl This has been discussed in the forums many times. In short: FOG currently does not have “persistent group settings”. Groups are more or less just a tool to alter a setting / run a task for a group of clients.

          Read through this for example:
          https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/6902/fog-1-3-persistent-groups
          https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/6613/active-directory-settings-from-groups-menu-don-t-save-if-group-is-empty

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

Please support FOG if you like it: https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Support_FOG

OK thank you. I saw that it was on the developers feature request 3 years ago so I had though that there was a good chance that the feature had made it in.
