I have successfully installed FOG v1.54 on Ubuntu Server 18.04 LTS, and have manually assigned a static IP for my primary NIC (eno1) with an IP address of: 192.168.2.1/24. I will not be using DNS at all, but what else needs to be done in fog, or one of the core fog files to allow DHCP to run, I chose “Y” for that option. I am also using a dummy switch that has no access to the outside network and can do 1-3 machines at a time. There are no firewalls hindering deployment. I need DHCP & PXE to work properly, but it’s leaning DHCP. But it’s been so long since I’ve seen or done a fog server, which file/files need to be modified? Thanks.

@dbrilliant You don’t need to modify any files manually IF you haven’t done anything special. Usually the FOG installer does this all for you and does it properly. Did you possibly change network interfaces or IP addresses after the install? That would probably cause DHCP and other things to not work properly. You can take a look at /etc/dhcp/dhcpd.conf to see if you can manually fix it. Changing FOG server IP is not as easy as it might sound.
