can i join to a domain automatically without using the client?

    I seen some topics on this but it wasn’t really clear if i need the client or not. love to hear any information about this. i tried using the Active directory info when i imaged a client, but it did not join to the domain.

      Normally the fog client is used to join the computer to AD. If no client, then no FOG managed AD join.

      Now, you don’t NEED to use the fog client to connect the target computer to AD if you let your unattend.xml file do this for you. If you are in an environment where you can’t use the FOG client, then the unattend.xml route is the only route.

      Please help us build the FOG community with everyone involved. It's not just about coding - way more we need people to test things, update documentation and most importantly work on uniting the community of people enjoying and working on FOG!
