    Hello all,

I am having an issue. I am trying to image a Dell R410 server and it has a SAS 6 raid controller. When I try to image it FOG does not recognize the hard drives.

Is there a way to slipstream this into FOG so that it loads the driver before it tries to upload/deploy the image?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to compile a custom kernel with those drivers built it. You might try booting that machine from an Ubuntu Server CD and seeing which drivers work with that controller. That will tell you what you need to include in the custom kernel.

        Hi there,

Matt42180 did you create a custom kernel and got your R410 imaged with fog? I am having the same problem and was wondering if you could share your work. That would be awesome.
        Thank you very much.

        Best,
