Cannot set tasking as image is not enabled

Hello,
I have registered a host on my FOG server (first time ever!) but when I click capture image I get this error:

Cannot set tasking as image is not enabled
What to do?

Is the image actually associated to the machine you’re trying to capture from?

@JackieJack Which version of FOG is this? So what image is set for this host? Did you check the image settings in the web GUI? There is a setting “Image Enabled” in the image settings. Probably de-selected in your case…

can we get a screen shot of the error taken with a mobile phone, the context of the error will generally tell us what is going on.

It almost sounds like you are trying to deploy an image that is not active, or has not been captured as of now.

I am using the latest version of Fog - downloaded and installed yesterday.

I got this error.

Created a new image. The enable check box is checked.

@jackiejack What I want you to do tomorrow is inspect the image definition itself in FOG web gui make sure the check boxes at the bottom say enabled.

@jackiejack this is weird. I’d recommend running the maintenance commands to see if they help: https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php?title=Troubleshoot_MySQL#Database_Maintenance_Commands

@wayne-workman I have set up my centos machine as per the fog recommendations. I have a huge /image partition. Don’t know if that would cause any issue.

Looks like I should do a full re-install of centos and fog.

@JackieJack Maybe it’s just something you misunderstand on the FOG web interface that leads to that error. Can you please explain in detail how you are trying to schedule an imaging task?

Well, I created an image definition

Now I go to host mgmt to capture

when I click capture, https://imgur.com/ekCpabc, I get that same error “Cannot set tasking as image is not enabled”
