The system reserved should not be dynamically resized. Is the version of windows being deploy not US english where the name “System Reserved” is in your native language?

Please help us build the FOG community with everyone involved. It's not just about coding - way more we need people to test things, update documentation and most importantly work on uniting the community of people enjoying and working on FOG!

@FredG What exactly do you mean by “dynamic” ? Resized after deploy or partition shown as dynamic in windows disk management?

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

          Hello,

          Resized during deploy.

The version of windows is french (FR_fr). the name of the partition is “Réservé au système”.

@FredG Well then, do you have an idea how we can reliably detect those “System Reserved” partitions when labeled differently in foreign languages?

Understand this is an open source project and we don’t aim for providing a full professional solution for all cases. But on the other hand we are open for suggestions and more than happy to add suggestions. In this case I see it as something special and would ask you to help us find a solution.

we could use a text file containing the list of labels. And do a test on this list ? (With the possibility for the user to add labels.)
Then a script to inject automatically in init.xz ?

And a topic on the forum so that one can give the labels of his country / language. This would make it possible to constitute a first text file

@Sebastian Roth Is it possible ?

ps 1 : sorry for my English

ps 2 : I have the same problem with the partition 1 “recovery” of windows 10 recovery (english) -> récupération (french)

ps 3 : Thank you for the product you offer us. Thank you for the time you spend developing fog

@FredG Sure we could go with a list of lables but what bugs me is that lables are just kind of like a sticky note. Very much volatile and therefor I don’t think it’s worth the effort to add this to FOG. I would like to come up with a more reliable / robust way of actually detecting if a partition is system or recovery or …
