Set Host Product Key no logger works

    Description

    Hello,
    I have a problem : Host Product Key setting no logger works.
    I have one key for each client.
    Hand setting Product Key works.
    Service Hostname Changer, Power Management, Snapins, Task Reboot enabled.
    Hostname are correctly changed by fog.

    Where should I take a look ?

    If I restart the fogservice, it works too

    @lebrun78 So the problem is the fog client crashed and once the computer was restarted it completed the activation? Do I understand correctly?

    @lebrun78 Other than the client machine not working, is there an error message you can show us where it tells us the activation failed?

    This might be in the fog client log or in the windows event viewer. What I want to see is if we can see where the MS VLK key is being used to check to see if it matches what you have configured in the FOG GUI.

    We have subscribe to the Microsoft imagine program, so we can generate keys.

    Each client have its own key (Education version), Before, after deploiment, licence key was activated in system properties of each PC.
    But, with deploiements done recently, not actually, windows appears not activated. Wrong key format ?

    Gives me the impression that the OP has Windows Education OEM installed and trying to deploy 1703 to these systems and the systems are failing to reapply the OEM key. If this is correct there could be a EULA compliance issue since you need a VLK key to support imaging. If this was true then the OP should have a single VLK key for all computers and not individual.

    Aside the legal question here, I have a question for the OP
