      Hello,
      When attempting to register a Lenovo Yoga 370, we get the following error:

      Unable to register host for the following reasons:

      SG_IO: questionable sense data, results may be incorrect
      HDIO_GET_IDENTITY failed: Inappropriate ioctl for device

      We are on version 1.2.0

      Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

        The short answer is the FOS kernel supplied with/for the FOG 1.2.0 series is not capable of booting on that hardware. You may be able to use the FOS kernel for 1.4.4. You can download it from here: https://fogproject.org/kernels/bzImage32 You will need to rename the file to bzImage and store it in /var/www/html/fog/service/ipxe directory on the fog server. Don’t forget to backup the current bzImage file just in case something goes wrong.

        But I really think you need to spin up a new FOG 1.4.4 server if you plan on supporting/deploying Win10, GPT format, or NVMe disks. Those features are not supported with FOG 1.2.0.

            I was afraid of that, but I can do that. Thank you for your quick reply.

              Can’t do which? Upgrade to FOG 1.4.4 or use the FOG 1.4.4 FOS kernel?

                @george1421

                Sorry for the confusion. I meant I can, not can’t.

                Thanks again for your help. I just updated to 1.4.4, and it’s registering just fine.
