      Description

      Hi,

When I installed kubuntu I choose fog as username…

Then I install fog 1.4.3 and when the screen go locked the password I choose went wrong!!
I boot in rescue mode change my user’s password (fog) and also in different files settings… I thought I’ve made something wrong…

But today, when I’ve upgraded 1.4.3 to 1.4.4, I got the same issue : my password does not work anymore.

I wonder if fog’s installation have done something with my user account (fog)?!

      Anyone help?

That was your first mistake. Do not create a user called fog, this is a reserved account.

The password for the fog account will be in storage management. Once in, I would advise you to make a different account called something else, and leave the fog account alone.

@sdorion future upgrades will work fine from another account. You should be running the installer from the root account anyway.
