Bad SEctors
-
I have an bad sectors on HDD.
How can i skip bad sectors when i capture with fog ? -
You cannot. It tries to ignore crc, but if the disk is heavily corrupt you are better using a ddrescue or dd image to capture the drive (not via fog) if you’re trying to recover data from the drive.
Capturing an entire image that has bad sectors would not be a good idea regardless of the medium used to grab a copy of the disk and particularly more so if you plan on using that image on multiple machines.

@Tom-Elliott it is not multiply. Just wanna ger backup of personal PC
-
@eistek You’re better off using another tool such as Clonezilla, or a Linux live cd to try to create an backup image of the drive.

DDRescue is best bet for bad sectors.
