    Server
    • FOG Version: 1.3.5
    • OS: Ubuntu 16.04
    Client
    • Service Version:
    • OS:
    Description

    So this isnt a FOG problem per say. It is more of a Cisco issue.

    We use the Cisco AnyConnect Client (Going away with new firewalls) and what this client does it apply a MAC to any VPN connection. The stupid part is it applies the same MAC to all VPN connections:

    00:05:9a:3c:7a:00

    This is a problem as this has started to happen:

    0_1493981709535_upload-2c93719b-b6b1-457d-9c8a-7ef0e166dc49

    Is there a way to ignore or blacklist a certain MAC address for the whole FOG system? I cant be the first person to find this. If so I do pride myself on making the lives of others harder.

      Yes there is a way to filter.

      FOG Configuration Page->FOG Settings->FOG Client -
      Host Register->FOG_QUICKREG_PENDING_MAC_FILTER

      Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

          @Psycholiquid You might enjoy it more in that you can do “partial” mac filtering there too.

          Meaning you don’t need to do the whole mac address, you could do: 00:05:9a only.

          This is a comma separated list for what it’s worth too, you aren’t just limited to filtering a single mac.
