      Description

      Hello,

I created a delayed snapin task but it doesn’t work. I read somewhere that it’s necessary to modify some files for GMT compatibility but for tests, I’ve programmed two tasks at two different hours. First task, detailed in the video below, run two minutes after programmed time. The second task is programmed to start at 22:00.

This morning not any task has run.

Thanks in advance for your help.

When the flags go from “Active Yes” to “Active No” it means their tasking has been started. Delayed tasks are not continuous tasks, though it appears (from what I’m seeing you try to state) that the task has not be “scheduled” either?

The video only shows us the scheduled tasks primarly. Did the tasking actually get created?

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

Thanks for your answer @Tom-Elliott and sorry, I had not seen that detail. The task should be deleted when it is completed, as for snapins. Or put an icon as for ping stations.

@aruhuno Scheduled tasks are not the same as “regular” tasks.

The “Active” flag is used as the indicator of start/completion of hte scheduled task item. In the case of “cron” the active flag should remain, but in the case of “delayed” tasks, the task active status should change from yes to no.

We keep “scheduled” tasks listed so you have a sort of record of actions and their “activity” from a scheduled standpoint.
