      I have a question and a comment

Q: Are you able to unicast an image to this target computer?

😄 You probably will want to be on the pre1.3.5 branch (1.3.5RC13 at this time) to take advantage of the latest fixes for FOG.

Please help us build the FOG community with everyone involved. It's not just about coding - way more we need people to test things, update documentation and most importantly work on uniting the community of people enjoying and working on FOG!

@george1421 Q : Yes, this image works as unicast deploy.
C : The 1.3.5RC13 version is stable enought to use this version in my company ?

@Aurel I can say the fixes and enhancements in 1.3.5RC13 is significant enough that managing any instability that may be part of the RC series. Plus your multicast issue may have been resolved already. I can say that if you are using “single disk resizable” you will benefit from the update.

I know that was worded a bit strange, but the RC series are about as stable as 1.3.4. Are they perfect, no but close.

@Aurel Just a question on your original post. The host that is trying to connect to the multicast stream. Is it registered with FOG?

I remembered on my commute into the office today, that there was a fix applied to RC10 or RC11 that addressed an issue where an unregistered target computer couldn’t connect to a multicast stream. That issue was fixed in the 1.3.5RC stream.

So your options are to register the host first and use 1.3.4 or upgrade to 1.3.5RC[> (11)]

This was a known bug and has been fixed in 1.3.5-RC-13 I believe was the “official” fix.
