      Hi

      I am pretty new to all of this and sorry if this is a basic question. I’ve read the installation wiki and it says to use Ubunutu 16.04.

      Is this Ubuntu Desktop or Ubuntu Server?
      Is this 32-bit or 64-bit?
      On the Ubuntu website I can see 16.04.2 - is this OK or does it need to be exactly 16.04

      Also just to make sure I am not barking up the wrong tree - am I right in thinking that there is not a FOG server than can run on a windows box?

        Ultimately, it doesn’t matter which version of Ubuntu you use.

        I tend to stick with headless (non-gui) systems, so server installs, But FOG can install on desktop versions as well.

        Please help us build the FOG community with everyone involved. It's not just about coding - way more we need people to test things, update documentation and most importantly work on uniting the community of people enjoying and working on FOG! Get in contact with me (chat bubble in the top right corner) if you want to join in.

        Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

            @Wayne-Workman Awesome! I ran the commands on this page and my site is up and running! Thanks. There were some questions about DHCP and PXE in the install which I didn’t really know how to answer but if I answered it wrong I will probably trash the VM and start again as it’s quite quick.

            Now I need to do some reading about capturing an image!
