Fog Snapins
-
Hi,
I am very new to fog server, i have it installed on a CentOS aerver and i have a lot of images of all different computers models we use and it’s awesome but i feel like there is still a lot of stuff i need to automate by using snapins, do you all have some good tutorial on how to create snapins? I’ve tried to find something useful but to no avail, much appreciated, thanks in advance.

Welcome to the FOG forums.
There is some excellent information on our Wiki pages that may help you get started.
For example here is one:
https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php?title=Snapin_Exampleshttps://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Supported_Snapin’s_and_Command_Line_Switches
and
https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php?title=SnapinPacksIf you have a specific question on how to do something you can post to the forums and someone who has been down the path before can and will assist you.

@Rubster Here is a recent web tutorial that the PDQ Deploys guys just hosted last week. It goes into the background and live demo of snapins and how they integrate with PDQ Deploy (an awesome software deployment tool). https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/9577/webcast-imaging-with-fog-managing-with-pdq
