I currently run a FEW (10) FOG Servers for various facilities I support. The particular server I am having problems with is running on Ubuntu 12.04 Server and running FOG0.32. I want to change the number of unicast slots on this machine. The switches in this building do NOT support multicast (I know…major bummer). When I go into the “Other information” menu (the big question mark in a blue circle on the FOG web interface) and then go to FOG Settings and change “FOG_QUEUESIZE” and save the changes, I do not see any change in the number of slots on the FOG home screen. Where else or where SHOULD I make this change? Is there a config file that FOG uses for this that I should be changing instead?

This change is made in the STORAGE NODE settings. I don’t think the queue size option is used anymore and may be removed in future versions.

Grr, that is unfortunate as IF I could limit the number of sessions to only one or two, they load faster than if I only have the option of doing ten at a time. Help me Chuck and Jian, you’re my only hope!

go to your Fog server web page, login, go to storage management icon, click All Storage Nodes on the left menu. Select the storage node you want to edit, which is probably DefaultMember, adjust the MaxClients value there to however low you want it.
