        I should have noted this is a Windows 7 - 64bit laptop.

If you are running 1.2.0 then you should update to the latest kernel for 1.2.0 stable which is 4.1.2. The version 3.19.x doesn’t contain the required network driver for that hardware.

A better choice would be to upgrade to version 1.3.0-rc2 to get the advanced kernel and support for uefi systems, gpt disks, NVMe disks, and windows 10 (I understand your question is about win7).

Thanks for the reply. I guess another problem is that I’m not seeing the latest kernels in the kernel updater on my FOG server. The kernel I have installed is the latest one available according to my server. Can the kernel be manually downloaded or what can I do to get the server seeing the latest kernels.

@phil_pancrazio You can download them from here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/freeghost/files/KernelList/ (not sure why they don’t show up in the normal place). You will have to save the x64 image as bzImage and the x86 image as bzImage32 . These files go into the fog server in /var/www/html/fog/service/ipxe

I found where I could download kernel 4.1.2. I manually installed it and this has resolved my problem. Do you have a link to instructions on how to upgrade to ver 1.3.0-rc2? Thanks for the help.
