    Unable to get new computer to register. Am able to ipxe boot to fog menu screen. Try and run full inventory. Fog can read all the info about hd, ram, serial numbers, but then hangs on attempting to send inventory.

    Boot again to fog menu and check compatibility. It passes on hard drive and fails on network. If i check each item on info page the fog server can tell me everything but netowrk card. it shows no MAC address.

    I am running fog version 1.2.0.

      So you are running fog 1.2.0 stable? If so you will need to /hack/ your system by downloading the kernels for the trunk version of FOG 1.2.0 (trunk). The trunk version is a dev version of 1.3.0 when its released later this year.

      You can download these kernels directly from the FOG servers using these links.
      https://fogproject.org/kernels/bzImage
      https://fogproject.org/kernels/bzImage32

      Just copy these files to /var/www/html/fog/service/ipxe on the fog server. Make sure you rename the original ones in case you have problems. Then move these files into that location. The last time I checked these kernels are 4.6.2 or newer. You have to do this manually since the older (stable) version of fog will not see them. These kernels have the correct drivers for the new(ish) hardware.

      Please help us build the FOG community with everyone involved. It's not just about coding - way more we need people to test things, update documentation and most importantly work on uniting the community of people enjoying and working on FOG!

        @Jerry29445 Any news on this?

        Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

        Please support FOG if you like it: https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Support_FOG
