      Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
      Fog 7593
      Windows 7 Pro 64-bit
Client 0.10.6 (MSI install not smart installer)

After imaging a machine, nothing happens, it doesn’t add to the domain, it doesn’t change to the appropriate host name either, I checked the log and there were a lot of errors.

@herrpommesfrite check your checkin times and grace times for the client in Web Interface -> FOG Configuration -> FOG Settings -> FOG Client.

Also, did you have to reset the encryption for the host? It’s possible that this was your hangup.

It’s also possible that the client updated itself - and it simply took a while.

@Wayne-Workman They are both set to 60. Is that an appropriate time?

@herrpommesfrite For most, 60 is fine. Especially with the improvements that FOG Client 0.10.x brought.

If you have less than 1,000 computers, 60 is probably fine. In excess of that I’d probably recommend 3 or 5 minutes. Esp. when you get to around 15,000.
