Changing hostname.........unmount: can't unmount /ntfs
-
Hey folks, new member, first post.
Just built a new FOG server (specs below), and everything is peachy until towards the end of a deployment.
*Performing Clean up (Stage 1)…Done
*Changing hostname…umount: can’t umount /ntfs
invalid argument
Done
*Updating Computer Database Status
*Database Updated!
*Task Complete, computer will not restart
[ 451.676199] restarting system
When the machine reboots, it goes nowhere. Sometimes it gives me an error saying that the OS is missing.
I can successfully capture images. I just haven’t successfully deployed.I have deployed the same image to the same machine w/ a different FOG server (Ubuntu 10.04 (desktop)64bit FOG 3.2)
The server with this issue is running Ubuntu Server 11.04 64bit, FOG 3.2
The only thing I imported were the images, and some kernels.Things I have tried:
I have changed kernels, (specifically bzImage from the other server).
I have completely uninstalled FOG/ reinstalled.
I have captured an image on the new server, then attempted to deploy.Thank you

This got resolved. I was missing a custom init file that needed to reside in /tftpboot/fog/images/

I’ve been having the same problem. What did you have in your init file?
This is my question on the forum:
