Solved… the problem was sitting in RAM. I took RAM out, CMOS battery out and unplugged power cable. Left the machine sitting on the desk for an hour and the problem was gone. I can reimage it now.

RE: "Can't unmount /ntfs: Invalid argument" on Deployment
Heads up, its not a fault on the image. It is a local workstation lock on the hard drive from a computer being on standby or hibernate mode. Restart the computer and let it shut down properly. If the OS is wiped and isnt booting anymore… load up the windows 7 install dvd, go through the options to set up windows as a new installation. Delete any random partitions and hit next . When you see the install screen doing its thing, cancel it by hitting the red x and shutdown. Now try to deploy the image again and it should work now.
The problem is it won’t finish repairing it. I mean it finished so I rebooted the machine and it now says it has got winload.exe files missing. Now I can’t reimage it same as before and it won’t boot from CD either. I’ve replaced the HDD, took BIOS battery out… Image is fine as I’ve tested it on another machine. Any help?

RE: Failed to mount '/dev/sda1': input/output eror
Unfortunately the results were the same… I have imaged these machine in the past a few times, never ever had any problems with them. Also I have tried to deploy a different image to these machines and had the same result so I don’t think the image itself has become corrupt.
As a different imaging solution I use Symantec Ghost, and I had to use it yesterday to get the machines reimaged. However I would like to stick to Fog as it’s soo much easier to use and I get better transfer speed with FOG. -

I’ve tried deploying another image to the same machine. Also I’ve tried the same image onto another type of the machine

Failed to mount '/dev/sda1': input/output eror
Hello there,
I’ve been trying to reimage one of our rooms yesterday evening. I looks like the image deploy task fails after 2% and the machines restart. The error I get:$MFTMirr does not match $MFT (record 0).
Failed to mount ’ dev/sda1’: Input/output error
