hdparm: ioctl 0x304 failed: Inappropriate ioctl for device

Working on a FOG 0.32 server(Yes I know there are newer versions but all of our current images are on 0.32). We are running into an issue with imaging our new Dell Optiplex 7440 AIO Touch machines. I have downloaded the latest kernel from kernel.org and attempted to compile the new kernel. I got it to boot into the host registration on one kernel but the keyboard didn’t work. I tried the kitchen sink .config but forgot to compare the kitchen sink vs my kernel config and now I can’t get it to boot into registration. When I select full host registration I get:
hdparm: ioctl 0x304 failed: Inappropriate ioctl for device
Any suggestions on which kernel additions or how to troubleshoot which item is causing this? I can boot into the debug console but not sure where to go from there.

Download kernels pre-made just for FOG.
I would not advise replacing the inits - as the new inits would likely break everything in 0.32.
There is a guide on how to do that here:
